Pirates! Southern belles! Swarthy sea captains! Exotic Ports of Call! The Blue Enchantress combines all these in a whirlwind romance between a very headstrong couple. The colorful characters and fast action had all the intrigue of Pirates of the Caribbean but with a very Christian theme: redemption. In the summary above, you saw that Hope is redeemed from the auction block, but as you read this wonderful historical, you'll find that it's a recurring theme.
This is Book Two in a series, but don't worry, you'll be able to follow without reading the other two. One caveat though: once you read Blue Enchantress, you'll want to read The Red Siren (Book One of the Charles Towne Belles series).
